Job Title:  Office Assistant for Accounting Department

Location:  Summerville

Job Type: Part-time Hourly position, 15 to 20 hours/week

Job Description:

  • Provide accounting and administrative support to the Finance Department
  • Filing
  • Data entry
  • Assisting with payroll systems
  • Entering accounts receivable and accounts payable data
  • Assisting with account reconciliation for DSI as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records of work completed
  • Assistance with DSI special events and functions
  • Attend trainings as required to enhance job knowledge and skills
  • Additional duties as requested

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have minimal of two (2) years’ experience in administrative, office and/or clerical duties

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Publisher. MS Excel test will be administered prior to hiring.
  • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and able to work independently
  • Experience with payroll preferred

Job Title:  In Home Care Aide

Location:  Summerville

Job Type: Full-time position, 40 hours per week, M-F 8:30am – 5:00pm

Job Description:

Assisting clients based on the designated plan of care to include but not limited to duties of

  • Housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Meal Preparation
  • Shopping
  • Ability to lift 30+ pounds with duties including bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing stairs, use of fingers, hands and limbs on a routine basis
  • Capability to tolerate reasonable heat and cold changes in resident homes, house pets, smoking, and /or odors
  • Report accidents/injuries to client or self to management
  • Ability to attend in-services and training sessions
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and duty sheets related to services/care provided to client
  • Additional duties as requested

Job Type: Full-Time Hourly position, M-F, 8:30a – 5p

Job Description:

  • Greet all persons entering building
  • Address questions/concerns/complaints/suggestions or direct to appropriate DSI staff
  • Provide information regarding DSI (such as membership, activities and monthly calendar)
  • Answer & Operate a multi-5 line telephone
  • Process and maintain membership records/forms (new and renewables)
  • Accurately conduct financial transactions for membership and program fees; accountable for all cash collected during shift.
  • Accurately conducts financial transactions for membership, activities and program fees
  • Attend trainings as required to enhance job knowledge and skills
  • Additional duties as requested
