Job Title:  Activities Coordinator                                 

Location:  Summerville

Full Time Position- M-F 8:30-5:00, may require some days staying late  

 Position includes, but is not limited to:

  • Scheduling, arranging, and coordinating senior activities including
    • Trips
    • Public awareness forums and activities
    • Celebrations
    • Daily activities in accordance to calendars
  • Produce activity calendars by setting up monthly classes with various vendors
  • Coordinate room set-ups and assist as needed.
  • Participate in the promotion of center activities by establishing relationships with center members, clients, and vendors
  • Attend trainings as required to enhance job knowledge and skills
  • Able to drive agency van/fifteen passenger bus
  • Candidate must have experience in administrative, office and/or clerical duties
  • Excellent proofreading, corresponding , and communication skills
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Publisher

Position, 40 hours per week, M-F  8:30am- 5:00pm 

Position includes, but is not limited to:

  • In Home Service Clerk
    • Assisting clients based on the designated plan of care to include but not limited to duties of
      • Housekeeping
      • Laundry
      • Meal Preparation
      • Shopping
    • Ability to lift 30+ pounds with duties including bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing stairs, use of fingers, hands and limbs on a routine basis
    • Capability to tolerate reasonable heat and cold changes in resident homes, house pets, smoking, and /or odors
    • Report accidents/injuries to client or self to management
    • Ability to attend in-services and training sessions
