  • Job Title: Nutrition Manager                                                 Location: Summerville

     

    • Full-Time Position, 40 hours per week, M-F 8:00AM – 5:00PM
    • Position includes, but is not limited to:

    o   Determine eligibility of services based on need and funding

    o   Conduct client assessments

    o   Food inventory management and reporting

    o   Maintain knowledge of SC Office on Aging Nutrition Services and guidelines

    o   Ensure kitchens meet DHEC and safety standards at all times

    o   Conduct and document disciplinary actions when warranted

    o   Attend staff meetings and training sessions as scheduled by Executive Director and Deputy Director

    o   Complete professional development to enhance job knowledge and skills when requested

    o   Management includes hiring, training, monitoring, and conducting performance

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Five (5) years of commercial kitchen operation experience
    • Two (2) years managerial experience
    • ServSafe Manager certification required
    • Experience cooking for large groups
    • Possess great communication skills and the ability to manage time and set priorities
    • Knowledge of business, math, management, and marketing
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Applications

    Job Title: Accounting Clerk                                                               Location: Summerville

     

    • Part-time Hourly position, MWTH 20 hours/week
    • Position includes, but is not limited to:

     Providing accounting and administrative support to the Finance Department with duties including but not limited to:

    o   Filing

    o   Data entry

    o   Assist with payroll and has the ability to process payroll when needed

    o   Entering accounts receivable and accounts payable data

    • Process invoices and prepares checks for signature
    • Make bank deposits
    • Assist with preparing financial reports as requested
    • Mails vendor checks

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Candidate must have minimal of two (2) years’ experience in administrative, office and/or clerical duties
    • Excellent proofreading, corresponding, and communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel required; Quickbooks experience preferred
    • Detail oriented and organized
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Applications
    • Ability to multi-task with accuracy and able to work independently
    • Must have reliable transportation
    • MS Excel test will be administered prior to hiring

    • 2 Open Positions, 40 hours per week, M-F 8:30am- 5:00pm
    •  Position includes, but is not limited to:

     

    ü  In Home Service

    o   Assisting clients based on the designated plan of care to include but not limited to duties of

    • Housekeeping
    • Laundry
    • Meal Preparation
    • Shopping

    o   Ability to lift 30+ pounds with duties including bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing stairs, use of fingers, hands and limbs on a routine basis

    o   Capability to tolerate reasonable heat and cold changes in resident homes, house pets, smoking, and /or odors

    o   Report accidents/injuries to client or self to management

    o   Ability to attend in-services and training sessions

    o   Maintain accurate progress notes and duty sheets related to services/care provided to client

    • Candidate must possess excellent communication skills; Proficient in writing and math for record keeping and documentation;
    • Minimal six (6) months to a one (1) year experience working with seniors
