At Dorchester Seniors, Inc., we know that navigating the various programs and agencies available to seniors can be overwhelming. We have compiled a list of trusted local and regional agencies that specifically assist older adults in our community with everything from healthcare to legal aid.
While DSI provides many services directly, these partners help ensure that every need in our community is met.

Need Emergency Assistance? Start Here.
Before looking elsewhere, we encourage you to explore our Second Chance Program. This is our own grant-funded “safety net” specifically for Dorchester County seniors facing urgent needs.
Our Second Chance Program can help with:
- Emergency food and hygiene essentials.
- Help with utility bills and home comfort (A/C and heat).
- Assistance applying for SNAP and other benefits.
- Minor home repairs and accessibility ramps.
