Debra serves as Nutrition Coordinator at the David Sojourner Center, helping ensure seniors receive nutritious meals in a welcoming environment. She plays a key role in meal service and nutrition programming, supporting the health and wellbeing of members through consistency and care.

Darline Brogdon

Finance Assistant / Data Intake Specialist | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

Darline supports Dorchester Seniors as Finance Assistant and Data Intake Specialist, helping ensure the organization operates efficiently and accurately behind the scenes. She assists with financial processes and member data management, playing an important role in maintaining compliance, organization, and smooth daily operations.

Outside of work, Darline enjoys spending time with her daughter, Angela. Darline is also a coach for the Special Olympics and the Dorchester Dragons.

Konia Haynes

Human Services Manager | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

Konia serves as Human Services Manager in Summerville, supporting seniors by connecting them to vital resources and services that promote stability and wellbeing. She works closely with the senior community to assess needs and provide guidance, helping ensure they have access to the support necessary to maintain independence and quality of life.

Karen Williams

Activities Coordinator | David Sojourner – St. George

Karen serves as Activities Coordinator at the David Sojourner Center in St. George, where she helps create engaging programs that keep seniors active, connected, and involved. She works to ensure members have opportunities for fellowship, fun, and meaningful participation each day. Her focus is on building an environment where seniors feel welcomed and energized.

Tracey Ann Dreiss

Nutrition Aide | Faith Sellers – Summerville

Tracey Ann Dreiss has been with Dorchester Seniors for over five years as a Nutrition Aide. Inspired by her family, she brings a love of people and a caring spirit to her role.

Tracey enjoys helping and meeting new members each day. Outside of work, she loves sewing, spending time at the beach, and being with her family and dogs. She once worked on a submarine — something many members may not know!

Wendy H. Fisk

Nutrition Coordinator | Faith Sellers – Summerville

Wendy H. Fisk serves as Nutrition Coordinator at the Faith Sellers Center. Her love for seniors inspires her daily work, and she finds joy in seeing clients happy and enjoying themselves.

A true team player, Wendy believes in putting others before herself. She enjoys arts, crafts, and woodwork, and loves helping others both inside and outside of work.

Beth S. Greene

Center Manager | Faith Sellers – Summerville

Beth S. Greene has been with Dorchester Seniors for over six years and currently serves as Center Manager at the Faith Sellers Center. Her journey with DSI reflects both commitment and growth — she began as a driver, transitioned into Volunteer Coordinator, and now leads the center as Manager. That progression gives her a deep, firsthand understanding of both operations and member care.

Beth values making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and brings years of experience to her role. One of her greatest assets to DSI is her ability to help members navigate language barriers, ensuring they feel understood, supported, and included. For Beth, “People First” means valuing every individual for their unique qualities and meeting them where they are.

She treasures moments when she can guide members through difficult situations and connect them to the help they need. Outside of work, Beth enjoys sports, history, the outdoors, good music, and meaningful conversation.

Susan Owens

Membership Coordinator | Faith Sellers – Summerville

Susan Owens has been with Dorchester Seniors for almost three years and serves as Membership Coordinator at the Faith Sellers Center. She believes seniors need to know they matter and can make an impact at any stage of life.

Susan loves listening to members and being a steady, encouraging presence. She brings enthusiasm, positivity, and versatility to the team. For her, “People First” means recognizing that members are the most important part of everything DSI does.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys music, family time, and friends. She proudly describes herself as a “senior too — yay!” and lives by the reminder: “Life happens.”

Jeanette Hunt

Deputy Director | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

Jeanette Hunt has been serving as Deputy Director of Dorchester Seniors for the past few months, bringing strong leadership, organization, and operational experience to both centers. With a deep respect for older adults and the wisdom they carry, she is passionate about supporting programs that help seniors stay active, connected, and independent.

Jeanette’s background in leadership, operations, and payroll supervision gives her a well-rounded understanding of both the administrative and people-focused sides of the organization. She enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly so the team can focus on delivering an exceptional experience for members. For her, “People First” means treating everyone with kindness, patience, and respect — and remembering that every decision centers on the people served.

One of her favorite moments at DSI is watching members greet one another as they arrive — seeing friendships form and community flourish. A proud military brat, Jeanette had the opportunity to travel the world before settling in Charleston. She is the proud mother of three grown sons and a loving “GiGi” to two wonderful grandchildren.

Outside of work, Jeanette enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and appreciating life’s simple joys.

Brandon Lorick

Marketing & Development Manager | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

Brandon Lorick has been with Dorchester Seniors for almost a year and serves as Marketing & Development Manager across both centers. He was drawn to this work because older adults are often overlooked — and he believes they deserve to feel seen, valued, and appreciated.

Leadership has been part of Brandon’s story from an early age. As a teenager, he served on the Neeses Town Council in his hometown of Neeses, South Carolina — becoming one of the youngest individuals to step into local government leadership. That early experience shaped his heart for service, civic engagement, and community impact.

At DSI, Brandon thrives at the intersection of creativity and strategy. He enjoys combining proven methods with innovative ideas to tell the story of Dorchester Seniors in meaningful ways. With a background in producing video and social media content for the senior center, his church, and a racing organization, he understands how powerful storytelling connects diverse communities.

One of his greatest joys at DSI is helping members see their own value — capturing their stories through photos, videos, and everyday conversations. Known for his creativity, peacekeeping nature, and ability to make people feel heard, Brandon ensures the heart of DSI is both felt and seen.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jordan and their dog Bloo, following NASCAR, reading, exploring music, and trying unique sodas. He has also studied improv, which fuels both his creativity and connection with others.

Brandon believes independence allows seniors to write their own story — and that Dorchester Seniors gives them the space to do just that. What makes DSI special to him is its authenticity. When people walk through the doors, they don’t have to pretend — they can simply be themselves.

LaQuinta West

Executive Director | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

LaQuinta West leads Dorchester Seniors, Inc. with heart, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to older adults across Dorchester County and beyond. With nine years of service to DSI — rising from driver to Volunteer Coordinator, Center Manager, Deputy Director, and now Executive Director — she brings both strategic leadership and hands-on experience to her role. She holds a Master’s Degree in Family and Marriage Therapy and has a strong background in nonprofit leadership, program development, and community outreach.

LaQuinta has always been passionate about older adults. She believes they are wise, often overlooked, and deserving of strong advocacy. She considers herself a voice for them. Her focus is clear: ensuring seniors have access to the support, connection, and opportunities they need to live with dignity and independence. Under her leadership, DSI continues to grow as trusted infrastructure for older adults, providing meals, transportation, wellness, and belonging.

Her favorite moments at DSI are watching the team step up for seniors — from fixing a broken step, clearing a fallen tree, delivering meals after hours, or hearing a simple “thank you” from a member. Those everyday acts of service define the mission.

Though she leads boldly and gives her all to anything she commits to, LaQuinta is an introvert at heart. Her ideal day is lying on the beach with a good book or visiting her sister and watching a true crime series. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, a dedicated DSI volunteer, her daughter, and her extended family. She is deeply community-minded and believes that strong communities build strong families; in turn, strong families build strong communities.

Melodi Amos

Executive Assistant | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

Melodi Amos joined Dorchester Seniors, Inc. two months ago and brings a heart for service and a strong commitment to excellence. Inspired by the wisdom and resilience of adults 50+, she finds purpose in building meaningful connections and helping create a supportive, welcoming environment for every senior.

In her role, Melodi enjoys knowing her work makes a direct impact — whether supporting daily operations, assisting with programs, or ensuring seniors feel valued and cared for. She is known for her dedication, reliability, and detail-oriented approach, always stepping in where needed to support the team and the mission.

Melodi consistently goes above and beyond. She has grown the food bank beyond measure in a short time, ensuring the community is taken care of. She is a true gem — someone who answers the call before it is even made and serves well beyond her job description.

Outside of work, Melodi enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and loved ones, especially her sister who lives locally. She also loves creating custom designs and decorating, bringing creativity and attention to detail into everything she makes.

Charlene Frazier

Membership & Volunteer Coordinator | David Sojourner – St. George

Charlene Frazier has been with Dorchester Seniors since 2021 and serves as Membership and Volunteer Coordinator at the David Sojourner Center. Growing up close to her grandparents inspired her love for older adults and shaped her passion for serving seniors with care and respect.

Charlene loves being able to share in seniors’ stories and experiences. Always willing to help wherever needed, she brings warmth, energy, and compassion to the team. For her, “People First” means remembering that our seniors are the reason we are here.

One of her most meaningful moments at DSI has been hugging seniors during difficult times and being present when they need comfort most.

Outside of work, Charlene enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with family and close friends.

Natasha Page

Operations Support Specialist | David Sojourner – St. George

Natasha Page serves as an Operations Support Specialist at the David Sojourner Center. Whether she is in the kitchen serving meals, delivering meals, taking members home, or cleaning the building, she helps wherever she is needed. She was inspired to work with older adults because she has a heart for helping elders who need support and care.

Natasha brings focus and willingness to serve the Dorchester Seniors team. For her, “People First” means making sure clients are treated with dignity and comfort. Some of her favorite moments at DSI are seeing clients truly cared for and witnessing the positive impact of compassion in action.

Outside of work, Natasha enjoys singing, fishing, music, and spending time with her children. A proud beach girl, she finds comfort near the water.

David Kaye

Transportation Coordinator | Faith Sellers – Summerville

David Kaye has been with Dorchester Seniors for over two years and serves as Transportation Coordinator at the Faith Sellers Center. He was inspired to work with older adults because he understands that many seniors need support, and he believes in being someone they can count on.

David takes pride in being productive in many ways and leading by example for his family. With experience in multiple roles throughout his career, he brings versatility, reliability, and a strong work ethic to the team. For him, “People First” means remembering there is no shortage of need and doing what he can to help anyone who needs it.

One of David’s most meaningful moments at DSI was being promoted to his current role, a milestone that meant a lot to him personally and professionally.

Outside of work, David enjoys being outdoors and riding his bike.

Dominique Smith

Engagement Manager | Faith Sellers – Summerville

Dominique Smith has been with Dorchester Seniors for eight years and serves as Engagement Manager at the Faith Sellers Center. He is passionate about seeing seniors smile when they walk through the doors and loves the difference DSI makes in people’s lives — big or small.

A true “people first” leader, Dominique makes sure everyone is taken care of. As a proud military serviceman, he brings discipline, reliability, and a deep sense of duty to his role. Known for his warm personality and sense of humor, he helps create an atmosphere where seniors feel welcomed, valued, and at home.

Outside of work, Dominique enjoys video games, car shows, and spending time with family. If he could teach a class at the center, it would be sports or crafting — anything that brings people together.

Ivory Morton-Harrison

Program Manager | David Sojourner – St. George

Ivory Morton-Harrison has been with Dorchester Seniors for nearly twenty two years and serves as Program Manager at the David Sojourner Center. She was inspired to work with older adults because she values providing compassionate care, companionship, and support that improves seniors’ quality of life.

Ivory loves seeing seniors feel appreciated and valued each day. She brings effective communication skills and dependable leadership to the team, always prioritizing seniors’ wellbeing. One of her favorite memories at DSI was preparing and serving food that made members feel recognized and cared for.

Outside of work, Ivory enjoys spending time with her beautiful family, cleaning, and cooking.

Sherri P. Scott

Resource Coordinator | Faith Sellers – Summerville & David Sojourner – St. George

Sherri P. Scott has been serving at Dorchester Seniors since 2022 as the Resource Coordinator. Older adults have always held a special place in her heart. Caring for her elderly parents and serving in her church’s senior ministry confirmed what she already felt — supporting seniors is her calling.

Sherri loves seeing members arrive each morning full of energy and purpose. She treasures the trust they place in her when they stop by the office to talk, share, or seek guidance. With a background as a hospital chaplain, Sherri brings compassion, patience, and deep empathy to her work. For her, “People First” simply means their concerns come first.

Two moments stand out in her time at DSI: witnessing the center become family for a gentleman who once felt alone, and experiencing the joy and love poured out during the Angel Tree program. Those moments reflect why she serves.

Outside of work, Sherri enjoys spending time with family, gardening, quiet reflection, and fishing — even if she prefers someone else to remove the catch from the line.
