Home-Delivered Meals: Nutrition at Your Door

Supporting Independence and Health at Home

For many seniors in Dorchester County, staying healthy means having access to nutritious food without the stress of cooking or grocery shopping. Our Home-Delivered Meal program provides fresh, dietitian-approved lunches directly to the doorsteps of homebound seniors.

We believe that being homebound shouldn’t mean being without a healthy meal or a friendly face.

Our home delivery program provides meals for homebound seniors aged 60+ in Dorchester County, with eligibility determined through referrals from the Trident Area Agency on Aging. Those who do not meet grant criteria can still receive meals for $7 each, and reservations must be made by 1:00 pm at least one business day in advance.

To pre-order a meal or inquire about starting delivery for yourself or a loved one, please contact the center nearest you.

How the Program Works

Our delivery program supports the well-being of homebound seniors who are unable to visit our centers in person.

Fresh, dietitian-approved meals are delivered Monday through Friday, providing consistent nutrition while giving families peace of mind—our drivers also perform a daily wellness check to ensure seniors are safe and supported.

Each meal is crafted with clinical care, meeting one-third of the Recommended Daily Allowance of essential nutrients and following guidelines from the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Our program is available to eligible adults 60+ in Dorchester County, with a private-pay option for those who do not meet grant criteria.

Our meal delivery program thrives thanks to our dedicated volunteers. If you have a few hours a week to help deliver meals to your neighbors, we would love to have you.
