Located in the heart of Summerville, the Faith Sellers Senior Center is a vibrant 16,000 sq. ft. facility that originally opened in August 2002. On October 20, 2005, the center was officially renamed to honor Mrs. Faith Sellers for her years of tireless advocacy and her successful mission to turn the dream of a dedicated senior center into a reality for the citizens of Dorchester County.

Today, the center serves as a premier destination for active living, featuring a sprawling 5,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose room, a fully equipped gym, a computer lab, a library, and a professional billiard room. Supported by a commercial-grade kitchen for our Dining In and Meal Delivery programs, this facility provides every resource needed to help our members stay active, connected, and supported.

The David Sojourner Senior Center in St. George is a 5,000 sq. ft. facility named in honor of the town’s former mayor, recognizing his deep commitment and dedicated service to the local community. Since its opening in February 2002 and formal dedication in May of that same year, the center has served as a vital hub for seniors in Upper Dorchester County.

The building is thoughtfully equipped to support both wellness and social connection, featuring a gym room, a computer lab, and a library. With both large and small multi-purpose rooms and a dedicated kitchen space, the center provides a warm and functional environment for the various Dining In, educational, and recreational programs offered to its members.
